11 Months

My sweet Emmett,

You are no longer a baby and are now a little toddler. Emmett you are such a quick learner.  This month you have learned how to blow kisses, blow air to move your mobile, "cheers" a cups together and then take a sip, and answer the phone when I say, "Ring, ring, hello!?"  Emmett, in the morning when I get ready to workout you know its time when I sit on the floor because you will grab my gym shoes and hand then to me one at a time to put on.  You are such a little helper!  I hope you like to cook when you get older because it looks like you like to now.  You put your toys or blocks in a tupperware container and toss the toys up and catch them in the bowl while I say, "saute! saute! saute!"  Its pretty hilarious!  We have been trying to get you to eat more solid foods which you are now doing a little better at but your go to is hummus but it must be off a stick of broccoli.  You are so much like your daddy Emmett.  You just want hummus, beer, and coffee hahaha!  You love jumping on the bed with your Daddy too! You get laughing so hard and it's something your dad looks forward to every evening when he gets home from work with you!  Your 1st birthday is this next month!!! I seriously cannot even believe it.  In my mind you are still 6 months old.  I love you so much my sweet boy and I love the little guy you are turning into!!!

Baby Boll Boy #2

We are excited to announce we are due with another baby boy due August 10th, 2015!

I guess we will have to try a 3rd time for that girl!!!!

10 Months

My sweet Emmett,

We had an absolute blast with you this month in Cabo!!!! You loved it in the sun, swimming, eating guacamole, and the mirrors in the elevator. Emmett you sure are a fun boy to have :) Your Dad had a blast spending a whole week with you and I know that it sure was special for me to have us all together. I will never forget it!  You said your first word this month and I can't be happier!!! You said "MOM" ohh and you say "Bob" too haha. We are not sure where that one came from. We think you are saying "Babe" cause that's what I call your Daddy all the time.  Emmett you sure are a strong boy.  You can crawl all the way up our stairs now, you can take a few steps (every once in a while), crawl with your belly off the floor, and you can finally sit down from standing with out being scared.  We used to say we think that if we didn't help you down from your standing toys that you would just stand there all day! lol. Emmett you are such a good sharer (at least for now you are).  You love to eat an apple with me and take turns having bites, you hand me your blocks so I can play too. It melts my heart and I just hope you stay this way, I'm soaking it up for now :).  You got a new second cousin this month too! Greyson! You two boys are gonna be pals one day and I'm excited you boys will be so close together!!! Emmett you sure are my son....you love to dance and shake that bootie! When I hum the tune to hip hop song you stand up and shake that bootie it cracks your dad and I up!  I seriously can not believe your 1st birthday is just around the corner, lets start planning baby!
