8 Months

My sweet Emmett,

This month has been one of my favorite's with you so far!!!!!! You seriously are such a fun little guy to be around. I actually am excited for you to wake up from your naps haha. Well, Emmett you are still going steady with Miss. Ava. I am happy about it because I think she is a cutey pie of a little girl with an awesome momma that I get to hang out with! You kids had fun trick-or-treating together on Halloween. Emmett you were Bam Bam and Ava was a little Devil (because of her poor sleeping habits). You would go trick-or-treating in our candy bowl and all you would pick out was the little reeses cups and try to bite through them, you literally would throw back in the candy if it was anything else.  Emmett you love to clap your hands together and sing Pat-a-cake. You think its absolutely hilarious to go under the blanket with you Daddy and say, "Where did Momma go!?" Little guy you are a runner I think, you just run around the house with a big ol' smile on your face (with our assistance of course). Emmett you got your passport picture taken for our trip to Cabo (but really you look like its your college rugby team photo hahah).  I am also convinced that you think your carseat is your toilet because you seem to go every single time we are in the car.  On a better note, we got family photos done this month and boyyyy you are a looker Emmett ;)

7 Months

My sweet Emmett,

You started this month out quite interesting by crawling backwards....I looked away for a second and you ended up under the coffee table. You sure put a smile on my face by all the silly things you do! You now are army crawling forwards and you are getting pretty fast. You have 4 teeth coming in on top which just blows my mind, and the 2 on the bottom. Emmett you are loving to give momma kisses these days, I don't know if they are intentional or not but I call them kissy's :) One thing you love doing these days is going to the park for a little afternoon date and picking at the grass, it fascinates you.  You no longer are a vegetarian either! You ate chicken as your first meat and you liked it. Daddy even let you try some pizza this month from his favorite spot, Pizza Port! Emmett you aren't afraid of the waves at the beach anymore! This makes your daddy so proud and excited for the future and to take you out surfing with him. We got to play in the sand with you and let the water come up and get us, you loved it! Daddy and I got to celebrate our 2 year anniversary this year at the Grand Del Mar, it was awesome getting away for a night but we sure did miss you little guy ;)  You loved getting to see your Uncle and Auntie too.  Halloween is in a couple weeks and I am pretty excited to dress you up!
