16 Months and letting everyone know it!

My Sweet Emmett,

This is the last month we have together alone before the baby comes. I'm trying to soak up these special moments with you and make the most of everything.  We have been up to some fun things this past month.  We went to a trampoline park, the fair for Father's Day and visited the goats, had a donut date, and in the neighborhood 4th of July parade.  Daddy went to New York and rang the bell on NASDAQ.  We are so proud of him and all that he does, we do wish we could have been there though.  Emmett, we finally gave in a got you your first car!!!! Love is an understatement. Well next time I post baby boy will most likely be here.  We can't wait to snuggle and meet him!!!

7 Months Down....2 to Go!

My sweet Emmett,

I must have eaten a lot of spicy food when I was pregnant with you or something because you sure do like spicy food! No matter how much you like it though, I still consider you a fruitarian. This past month we put you in your "Big Boy Room" and you are doing great! I was really worried but you love it!  People always told me that it will be so hard when you start to walk, but I love it and I think you do to.  Especially the kids in the neighborhood do!  A few week ago our neighborhood kids came up to our garage and asked if you could come outside and play.  I felt time just flash before my eyes!  Emmett you are now a kid of the neighborhood.  You love the ducks that walk around our neighborhood too.  You go around saying "Duck, duck, duck" chasing them. You also make cow and dog noises.  Nana has made you obsessed with playing in the car. Every time she comes over you signal her to take you out to her car to play.  One of my favorite things you do is kiss us goodbye and know how to blow kisses.  It melts my heart and makes me so happy.  Baby boy #2 will be here soon! Just 2 more months.  We are super excited but at the same time very nervous to do it all over again.  If he doesn't come out before, we have a c-section date scheduled for August 4th.  See you soon baby boy!!!!
